In 1997, David Reiss was succeeded by his son Dani Reiss, who became the CEO of the brand in 2001. Under Dani’s leadership, some major changes to boost the profitability of the brand were taken. One of them was to halt the private label operations while continuing to manufacture within Canada. As a result, the company expanded to over 6 times from $3 million in 1991 to $17.5 million in 2008.

By the year 2004, Canada Goose finally made its on-screen debut with the films National Treasure and The Day After Tomorrow. The company during that time launched the PBI collection to support the polar bear habitats. This initiative of Canada Goose has widely popularized the company among its audiences. Seeing its widespread popularity, in 2010, the company opened its office in Stockholm, Sweden, and in the following years, the company moved to a larger facility for its expanded operations.
